What I Wore

Dress - New Look
Bracelet - H&M (old)
Necklace - New Look (old)

I promise I'm not obsessed with New Look!

So this is what Hannah and I wore last night when we went into Leeds!
We had a lovely night and my throat hurt from all the laughing. We met up some friends from school since prom was cancelled, was good.
My shoes... Some of you may have read my post the other day about these and they turned out to be not very comfy and rubbed my feet. That's probably just because they're new and I don't so well in heels anyway!
Not much to say really on this matter. So tired so I can't think!

New Look Slingback Heels

I bought these shoes today from New Look. They were £17.99 with my student discount and even though I couldn't really afford them, I desperately needed some new black heels!
I'm a big fan of New Look shoes, they're reasonably priced and they last a while (I seriously batter shoes) so I was in Leeds today and I was running out of places to look so I decided on taking a trip and found these.
Anyway, they're really really soft and so they're not going to rub me and I'm rubbish in heels but I can walk in the (kind of) although I don't know how I'm going to manage on Thursday night! And I have funny feet and they fit lovely!! The slingback heel with the buckle thingymabob allows you to have them as tight as you want which is perfect for my skinny heels!
The only criticism I have is that they hurt the balls of my feet a little so I'm going to have to put some gel things in them. But other than that, they seem to be quite comfy (although I won't be saying this when I get home).

Olympic Torch Relay

So the Olympic torch relay went past my house!! This was so exciting and they changed over outside my house too! The guy who ran with it down the hill (Rocky) let my brother touch it too before he got on the bus. It was so exciting to see it and to be in the buzz around! If the torch is coming near you, I recommend you go to see it. The whole procession lasts about 10 minutes and it's fabulous! It's a once in  life time (probably) opportunity and something to tell the grandkids!

Sunday Boredom

It's that time of week again where I have nothing to do... In fact I don't really have anything to do for the next four months, the joys. I've left 6th form now, completely finished my A Levels!
See, it wouldn't be so bad if I had money... I'm slowly running out. I have like twenty pounds to my name at the moment and I need my hair doing soon, I have gigs to pay for, clothes/shoes that I want... I NEED A JOB! I've been apply like crazy over the last couple of weeks but have I heard anything back? Oh yeah, of cause, you wouldn't think they'd be that inconsiderate would you? Yeah, I've heard back from... uumm... let me think... ONE PLACE! And that said "sorry but we cannot take your application any further".
They actually don't give you a chance, it's so frustrating. And I've only had four interviews in my life (two from the same store for the same job) and I only got one of the jobs, which was at Sports Direct... Seriously? It really puts you down as a person aswell :S

Anyway, enough of my rambling and moaning and wasting time...

New Cover of Slow it Down!

I can't express how much I idolize Amy Macdonald. I love her!
So I decided to do a cover of her new song Slow it Down which is awesome (as usual) and you shouls go check it out if you haven't, and her album, if you haven't!

On another note, my beads came today for my bracelets and I got so excited that I could start making them when I realised my elastic hadn't arrived so it has to hold back until it comes, which I'm hoping will be tomorrow!

And I have my last exam tomorrow for my A Levels, which is so scary, and I'm sat here writing this instead of revising! Oh well :P

Hope y'all enjoy!

London Town

Coat - New Look
Dress - Primark
Tights - Ebay
Bag - Ebay

In April I went to London for 5 days with Hannah and Lauren. Primarily, we went to see Mcfly, for the 3rd time, on their Keep Calm and Play Louder Tour but while we were there we thought we'd make the most of being in the capital and had a day, well, evening around London. I say this because we went to an after party (after the gig) the night before and didn't get back to the hotel while 3, and after having 2 hours sleep the night before in a tent we didn't wake up until 2 despite Hannah having an alarm on which meant we didn't get out until 5 but we still managed to go see Buckingham Palace, Big Ben (in the photo), had a Pizza Hut in Covent Garden, had a wander across Hungerford bridge, saw the London Eye and went on a hunt for the Intercontinental Hotel where Mcfly wrote their first album.
Anyway, I had a lovely weekend with my two best friends and I miss it so much! I've been to London twice now and I didn't really like it the first time I went (I got scared... But I was only 9) but after this trip, I wish we could go down more often.

What to Expect When You're Expecting

So I went to see this a few weeks back with Catherine (it was Orange Wednesday, why not?) and I didn't really know what to expect!

What to Expect When You're Expecting is a Kirk Jones, 2012 rom-com/drama and is about five women and their boyfriends/husbands during pregnancy/adoption. The women are of different ages and careers; a teenager, a TV personality and a middle aged couple, which means that the film fits a wide audience and women of all ages can relate to some element of it. With an all star cast including Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison (drool...), J-Lo and Elizabeth Banks, the story is an emotional roller coaster and will make you laugh, cry and go 'aaaaw'.

I was surprised at how emotionally attached I got as it's rare that I do to films. My eyes kept filling up yet every other scene make you literally LOL! It was also nice to watch a film with more than one narrative as it kept you hooked into the story all the way through and I didn't want it to end!
I recommend you go see or purchase a copy of this film, it's hard to put into words, you just have to see it!

New Bracelets

I bought this bracelet a couple of weeks back from ebay and I love it!
So yesterday I had an idea to start making and selling these to whatever everyone wanted, like with different bands/singers/names or whatever. I posted it on Facebook last night and I've had three friends already ask if I'd make them one which is brilliant because I haven't even started selling them or got my stuff for them yet!

I'll be selling these via Facebook by just posting it on my wall etc. and by bigcartel.com so it makes things easier and people who I don't have on Facebook can still buy them!
So keep your eyes peeled on my store!
